Cookie Policy
Spyder uses only essential cookies. We don't run third-party advertising trackers, and we don't set tracking cookies on the public sites our customers build.
Cookies we set on spyderapp.com
- spy_session — an HTTP-only, secure, signed JWT cookie that keeps you logged in. Required. Expires in 30 days of inactivity.
- spy_csrf — a CSRF protection token on form submissions and dashboard mutations. Required. Per-session.
That's the full list. We don't run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party retargeting on spyderapp.com.
Cookies on customer sites
Sites built on Spyder don't get any cookies from us by default. If a site owner chooses to embed third-party scripts (an analytics tag, a chat widget, an embedded YouTube video), those third parties may set their own cookies — governed by their own policies, not ours.
Local storage
The dashboard editor uses browser local storage for things like remembering which sidebar panels you had open and your preferred viewport (desktop / tablet / mobile). This data never leaves your browser.
Your controls
Your browser's settings let you block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking the spy_session cookie will log you out and prevent further use of the dashboard until you re-enable it.
